Cabin
The cabin system is direct DC offering more solar input and storage than the RV system. Most conservative energy demands can be met with this system.
It can power:
- High efficiency lights 4-8
- Small DC appliance use
- Computer/laptop charging
- Fans for propane furnaces etc.
- Limited water pumping with a direct DC pump.

The Morningstar Sunsaver Duo can charge up to 25amps Solar current, while giving you a digital read out of battery state of charge and maintenance. The remote meter is easily run to a convenient location in your cabin or RV. The Sunsaver duo is capable of charging two banks of batteries, a nice feature when mixing old with new. Adding a 300 watt sign wave inverter to the system will allow for conservative AC power use from a single receptacle.
We have mounting rack applications specific to small cabin roofs. A small top of pole mount is also available.
